Below you will find the detailed Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) of EyeScan.
General Terms and Conditions of EyeVis GmbH, Kiellinie 82, 24105 Kiel, Germany, for the use of the app “EyeScan”:
§ 1 Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “T&Cs”) of EyeVis GmbH, Kiellinie 82, 24105 Kiel, represented by the managing directors Dr. Claus von der Burchard and Mr. Damian Delvaux de Fenffe, registered at the Local Court of Kiel under HRB 23550 KI, apply to the use of both the website eyescan.help and the EyeScan app.
§ 2 Obligations of EyeVis GmbH
EyeVis GmbH will continuously develop and improve the technical functionality of the EyeScan app.
To maintain quality standards, regular maintenance of the EyeScan app is required. EyeVis GmbH reserves the right to perform such maintenance at any time, even if this temporarily interrupts access to the app.
Patients are not entitled to any claims for damages resulting from such interruptions.
§ 3 Obligations of Users
Users agree to provide accurate and truthful information during registration and while using the EyeScan app. Users are solely responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the information provided.
Users must not impair or endanger the usability of the EyeScan app through improper use.
Login credentials (such as passwords) must be kept secure and confidential at all times. If unauthorized third parties gain knowledge of these credentials, EyeVis GmbH must be informed immediately.
EyeVis GmbH reserves the right to immediately block user access in the event of a violation of these obligations.
§ 4 Copyright
All copyrights to images, graphics, and texts published by EyeVis GmbH on eyescan.help or within the app remain exclusively with EyeVis GmbH. This also applies to exclusive usage rights.
Any use, reproduction, or distribution of such content without prior written consent from EyeVis GmbH is strictly prohibited.
§ 5 Data Protection

§ 6 Miscellaneous
If any provision of these T&Cs is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The parties agree to replace the invalid provision with a valid one that most closely reflects the intended economic purpose. The same applies in the event of any contractual gaps.
All legal relationships between the user and EyeVis GmbH in connection with the use of the EyeScan app shall be governed exclusively by German law. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of EyeVis GmbH.
In accordance with § 36 of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG), we hereby inform you that the EU Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform for consumer disputes related to online purchases. This platform is available at:
